Blanket Bay Lodge

Blanket Bay Luxury Lodge was completed in 1999 and remains one of the world’s most exclusive and finest lodges.  Located at Blanket Bay at the northern end of Lake Wakatipu, the Lodge gardens and pool utilises local materials and planting to reinforce its regional character.  Baxter Design Group, as project Landscape Architects, worked closely with the Architect in the masterplanning of the site and continued their work through exclusive site design and detailing.  
The success of the design resulted in a National Design Award in 2002.
