Church Street Queenstown is a one way link road running from Camp Street to the lake front. It has a new office building and backpacker accomodation on one side and established popular bars and restaurants on the other with St Peter's Church at the Camp Street end.
BDG redesigned the streetscape working with the roading engineers to maintain the existing car parking and to allow coach parking adjacent to a newly constructed back packers and office building.
BDG also designed a new pedestrian crossing across Church Street which linked two perpendicular footpath routes from the Queenstown Mall to a large hotel and many central bars and restaurants. The crossing design incorporated four new tree planters with integrated custom designed seating and lighting.
