Kawarau Falls Station (KFS) is a large design project which Baxter Design is involved with the landscape design. An extraordinary project that incorporates hotels, businesses, residential and shopping centres in a unique hub like design. Baxter Design is currently developing the adjacent north facing land into the exclusive residential Lake's Edge development.
Kawarau Falls Station (KFS) is a large design project which Baxter Design is involved with the landscape design. An extraordinary project that incorporates hotels, businesses, residential and shopping centres in a unique hub like design.
The Baxter Design landscape design covered all areas of the site from lake front to highway around all the many buildings within the complex. A large central green roof covered a raised concrete platform which has brought the surrounding native bush down into the development combined with native planting and selected rocks.
The Hilton Hotel chain has since opened three hotels in the development.
