Lake Hayes Estate Park

This park is a children’s play area located in the centre of Lake Hayes Estate which is a large housing development outside Queenstown.

The design is based on a two large circle formations in plan which includes a number of landscape features such as a sheltered BBQ and seating area, curved stone walls, planting, playground equipment and a flying fox.

Today the area has become a popular focal point for families to meet and an annual Estate Resident's Association party.  The neighbouring sports park was also designed by BDG and includes several sports fields and a free game pitch for year round enjoyment.
