Prior to forming his own practice in 1998, Paddy worked for a nationwide practice, based in Queenstown and undertook a range of landscape design and planning jobs throughout New Zealand. Paddy has more than 25 years experience working for a range of Clients including corporates, local bodies, government departments and private clients. He also has had extensive experience in Environment Court hearings in visual assessment and landscape related matters. Paddy has been a key administrator in the design and development of many projects within the region and throughout the country. A selection of the works are highlighted in the Portfolio section. brooke@baxterdesigngroup.co.nz Brooke has been with BDG since 2004. Brooke has developed within the company to become a senior member of the crew and has become a Director in BDG. Brooke has undertaken many projects with a range of scales that include urban, commercial and rural design, landscape assessment and preparation of expert evidence to present at local council hearings within the region. He has also managed a number of high end commercial, residential and public park projects on the ground from the conceptual stage through to completion. michelle@baxterdesigngroup.co.nz Michelle has over 15 years experience as a Landscape Architect and has worked for the Department Of Conservation [DOC], Christchurch City Council [CCC], overseas and at Baxter Design Group for a number of years. Michelle’s experience covers a wide range of landscape work including national park plans, visual and landscape assessment for DOC, CCC and private clients both here and overseas, waterway restoration, master planning for public and private clients, public realm projects such as parks, villages and sports facilities and detailed design from concept through to construction. Gordon HigginsB.Eng[hons], Senior IT Technician
gordon@baxterdesigngroup.co.nz Gordon is employed as a Senior IT Technician and Designer. Gordon’s work varies from the management of large urban projects to planning small domestic projects from conception through construction to completion. Gordon works within the team producing concept plans and presentation packages for Clients and official Council submissions during the design process before construction begins. Gordon is highly skilled in the preparation of concept plans for presentation to Clients and then in the production of working drawings in CAD. Vicky has been employed at Baxter Design Group as a designer and CAD Technician for a number of years. She works within our team on a variety of commercial, residential and public projects, taking the design from the conception stage through to completion. Mark StallardHorticulturalist - mark@baxterdesigngroup.co.nz Mark Stallard has lived and worked in the Wakatipu Basin for many years and brings with him an unparalleled knowledge and expertise of the flora within the basin.
